Ahh... nice cool morning, sunny and warm, and low humidity... my weekend off, and what the heck am I doing... sound at a wedding... I should be taking my daughter to six flags this weekend, but no chance of that... So in an hour I will be doing sound, and an hour after that I am taking my daughter swimming... I ain't going to the reception... I got some quality time to spend with my girl... precious two days need to be applied wisely. You know I don't even have enough time to write my usual email buddy... maybe when I have my stroke I will have more time... hahaha... Also I need to go see the Hulk or Full Throttle CA... Is there anything more I can pack into this weekend... probably... anyway, anyone have a synopsis of either of those two movies??? I'd really appreciate it...

Yes, it is a beautiful morning in western Pennsylvania... hot and humid yesterday and more expected today. Almost called it quits yesterday, had to teach one class outside, around noon, and they were not happy about it. Neither was I... then all my classes except one didn't want to work yesterday. Insultant, bligerant, and basic a**holes. If it were not for my last class, I would have told them kiss my a**, I am outta here. But my last class, the new platoon, ended my day well. So I am off to enrich minds today... hmmm how much more money do I need to go to school????

Good morning all, yes it is Tuesday and yes I am just about off to work, two words of advice to people who think our youth are our future. Again appologies, Had a rough Friday... mapped a creek for Act 45 credits, wet, sloshing in my boots, but I got into the water with no quams...unlike 75% of class, and unlike all the rest who had waders. Then I had to get a tire that was losing air fixed that night... Then Saturday and Sunday was catch up on the chores around the house, didn't get a chance to see the movie... better luck next weekend. Oh and I did get to see my daughter at Bible School today... and here is her memory verse for the day... I am so proud of her...

Well, I had my first restraint in class today... kid was having some emotional problems and decided to try and get away with something he shouldn't have... well he went down... and after the DI's took control, he was taken quickly out... Anyways tomorrow is my first inservice day... finally get to go and sit in class and just listen... not teach... ahhh life is good... well talk to you later...

Ok, I missed this morning... didn't get in till 11:00, went to bed, and woke up late this morning... well the kiddies were finally the kiddies... didn't have a class yesterday cause they were on the beach... and today they were there half the day. After they were so good... dang, they were bad. Just want to smack them upside the head and tell them to wake up and smell the coffee!!! But believe it or not, I think I am getting the hang of it... Hey thanks for all the invites for Hulk this weekend, but I think I am going alone... no one can go when I want to go... so enjoy!

I survived... actually wasn't too bad, my first day nerves are gone... long live the teach!!! Everyone hyped this experience up... be prepared, don't give an inch, have them snap at your every word... and it just didn't need to be. Well actually didn't get much sleep last night, finished createing my grade book, got all the data into the computer, now I need to grade one classes worksheet before my 8:40 class, so I am off to work. Hey Hulk sounds good this weekend... any takers???

Good Morning all, I had a great Father's day, and to all of you out there that are Father's let me take this time to wish you a happy Father's day(Belated). Well today I start teaching... I have this week already planned out thanks to my sister who worked with me this weekend to get all the glitches out before I started today. I know I am nervous, but it is just first day nervous... and it will pass, just wish it was tomorrow. Being taught is a heck of a lot different than teaching and I guess, not known their reaction is what is making me nervous. Oh well... such is life, well time to teach the kiddies... Have a great day all, I will talk to you later

Sorry, for the late post... just recovering from Restraint class. We were doing take down restraints on cement and it was muddy. Crappy place and on my third takedown, my left foot slipped and I went right down on my right knee. YEAH I AM A F*CKING TEACHER AND I HAVE TO DO THIS SH*T! But I was a trooper, made it though another 3 hours of take downs, before went got to go home. By the time I got home, it was swollen. Next day I had to wrap it up tight, and do my testing for certification. Then afterward did the rest of the day on this swollen knee. By Friday night, I was so out it, I did some shots of vanilla vodka and went to bed. So today... I spent working on my lesson plans, unit plans and what the heck I am going to teach these kids. Fun, Fun, Fun!!! Thanks for the ideas, might just take them up tomorrow, if I finish these plans tonight. OK, Time to ice the knee... here is my quote of the day(ok, night, morning to be exact)

So of all the episodes last night for them to run on Enterprise, Marauders was chosen, why I don't know... now I know I made it number nine out of all 26 episodes, but after Dead Stop last week... couldn't they have gone with Shockwave part II or perhaps a double hitter night with both parts I and II... Marauders was good, just not what I was in the mood for last night. Well my week is going fine... got home early last night... 6:30 so I am doing better... hopefully I will be home around 5 tonight. Today is Safe Physical Restraint Training... wouldn't want to hurt the boys now would we... Ok, Any Ideas for a good movie this weekend... I need one after this week, send your ideas here... ok, my quote of the day...

Good morning all, well first day of orientation awaits me. According to my sister, I get to learn everything I wanted to know about VisionQuest, and it is supposed to take nine hours... fun, fun, fun. Well such is life. You know background checks are nice until you need to remember everyone you ever lived with since 1975... Ok, so where was I when I was four??? Bad part of it is that I roomed with 5 other guys in an apartment in Wilkes-Barre my first year of College and I only know one person's full name, two other first names, and the Marijuana Brothers I know only they come from Phili... and exact apartment numbers... I know probably the last 6 apartments, but the rest are total guess. So sue me if I can't remember every f**king detail. What's next tax returns from when I started working... hmmm I might just have them!?! You know dreams are a good thing, if you get them from a friend. Greetings all, well, now that blogger is up and running again... problem with their site I guess, I can post. Ok, details as I know them now, Director of Science Department, ~28K a year boosting to 30K in 6 months. I will be teaching 6 classes a day, 7:30-3:30 every weekday, weekends off, with full medical, dental, eye & prescript and two weeks paid vacation after a month. The Director wants to kick some ass over there, and I fully intend to. Technology will be implented piece by piece if necessary, even if it is my own, but these kids will be taught with equipment that colleges teach with. I will do my best to keep them interested and learning with these gadgets, since anyone who knows me knows... I am not the best teacher, in fact to quote my late wife... "Bruce, you could never be a teacher, you're too impatient teaching me, imagine what you would do to someone you don't even know!" Of course, I could see the potential in her, that is what lead to my impatience,PS- I am seeing that same potential in Kayla, which also leads to my impatience with her, like mother, like daughter. I just hope I can learn from what Stacey showed me, and keep my impatience under control. Anyhow, Drug test and physical all done, now all I need are my references, and to fill out mucho paperwork before Monday 8:15 am. I also need to read a dream that my friend wrote to me, very unique, I wonder if I shall continue it or let her continue with her train of thought??? If there are any good sections I will let you know... also, anyone got the StarTrek Nemesis DVD yet??? trying to figure out if I want to buy it... hmmm, I wonder when I will get a chance to see the movies again... maybe not for a while... oh and to check out just what you can advertise on here on the web, check this out, well here is my quote of the day...

I will let you all know more when I know more. The Director told me he wants me in orientation on Monday, so I need to fill the paperwork out today as well as get a drug test. All of this at 9:00 so I am off. Thanks for all the well wishes people... IT WORKED. Here is my quote of the day...

Thanks for all your comments on the dreams, very unique comments from cerbral phantasms from heaven, to sub-consicous torture. I just needed to ask those questions to see other people's ideas on dreams. Well Eric's party was last night at Eric & Amy's new house, and it was alright, sitting around talking, joking, and laughing. They have some really red carpet, at first it was bright and very noticable, but after a while, it was barely noticable. Anyhow, got a call yesterday from VisionQuest, and tomorrow I finally get the interview I have been waiting for, for over 6 months, and I am getting that teaching job. I have waited for them for so long, went through all the ropes, and I just have three credits to go to get my private teaching certificate, but I will get a temp certificate when I start since I have the credentials. That job WILL be mine for all the crap I have done for them. So tomorrow's post will be after the interview... In the meantime, here is my quote of the day...

Ok, try to keep up with this one...
Dreams, what are they? The embodiment of our sub-conscious or a phantasms developed by the recharging of our mental chemicals. I don’t know… But sometimes wish that I could understand just one. Now preferably I would rather have them, then not. I can remember going without them for more than a year, and I personally thought I was in danger of going insane. Since I got them back I have tried to make sense of them. Some very nice… thank you Terry, Cris, Tara, Kelly, Laura and Jenny but I also must give a big thank you to Stacey, for allowing me to remember special times we shared. But equally there were some dreams that almost drove me over the edge. Ones like the ones I have been having the past week, exception of Saturday, including the one I had last night. Despair, loneliness, and worthlessness were enough to drive the average male to scatter their brains at the side of the road… but yet I still exist. Why? Perhaps I believe in a greater good in life, or perhaps I am just the ultimate wimp in life… who knows??? In the end, Dreams give us more questions than answers, and perhaps that is what keeps us alive.
Anyhow, it is raining here, but we might still have that party later for Eric, brother-in-law, so I am off to do the little work I need to do. I will leave you with my quote of the day...

Work, work, work, just sucks. All day yesterday I worked on a PowerPoint presentation for my sister who needed a big finish at the end as well as narration thoughout. So for 9.55 hours I worked, and worked, and worked, grant it I am complaining even though I am getting paid by the hour, but it stills sucks. But the PowerPoint presentation really rocked...still short on time though roughly 9 min, and we need 15 min but we still have interviews to add and then the streching will begin. Oh, and the Trisomer Ligands look like this...

Good early morning to ya'all... I've seen the blarney stone and lived to tell about it. Actually it was a chemistry lecture and the blarney stone was new techniques in the Discovery and Characterization of Cooperative Ligand Binding in the Adaptive Region of Interleukin-2. Ok, it doesn't hurt to try to kiss the butt of professor who can give a good recommendation. Dr. Jennifer Hyde was a former student of Dr. Krugh my professor from earlier this year, so I knew I could score some points with him by attending and sure enough I did. After the lecture, I got a chance to chat with both of them, so I almost have the recommendation wrapped up, one more to go, then application away... anyhow, I was in a good mood so I stopped at the local liquor store on main street and picked up a fifth of vanilla vodka and then stopped at Country Fair and picked up a six pack of vanilla coke... NOT DIET VANILLA COKE!!! cause my friend suggested it tastes great. Well she was right, however not as good as a jolley rancher, watermelon pucker and sprite, but definitely good. I just made it in cause you really shouldn't drink and drive so I drank then drove... note... never drink alone, just too darn depressing... esp. with anniversaries this past week. Well I would have written earlier yesterday, but for some odd reason I was up till 4 am saturday morning, and almost overslept when I was going to drop the truck off to get inspected. Then I didn't stop the rest of the day till now... Hey have you ever wondered why Trisomer Ligands, H2Fe(CO)4 look like umbrella's? Ok, I am going to bed, so I shall leave you with my quote of the day...
